Ai CareAssist™, Arranger 2.0 Flow Charts & Solution Center Identity

May 2026 | Solution Center Dev Team

Sprint 2026.7 is our biggest sprint in a long time. Ai CareAssist™ brings AI-powered case management into Solution Center, Arranger 2.0 gets a real visual flow chart and disposition-aware filtering, and authentication moves from MATTSEC to the new Solution Center Identity stack. We also took the jump to .NET 10.

Ai CareAssist™: AI-Powered Case Management

Ai CareAssist™ is a brand-new experience that uses AI to take the grunt work out of capturing and organizing the information that comes up during an arrangement conversation. It listens (with consent), transcribes, extracts structured data, and keeps a running AI summary of the case so arrangers can stay present with the family instead of typing.

What's new:
  • Persistent Ai CareAssist™ FAB - A floating action button follows you across the app with a clickable panel for starting and reviewing sessions
  • Speaker Diarization & Transcript Upload - Transcripts separate speakers and can be uploaded directly to a case
  • Transcript Viewer & AI Summary - Review the full transcript or jump to an AI-generated summary structured as section cards
  • People Extraction - Ai CareAssist™ pulls mentioned people out of the transcript and matches them to Solution Center PersonTypes
  • Vital Data Comparison - A new page runs the Ai CareAssist™ extraction pipeline against vital data and reports coverage metrics and lookup resolution
  • Persistent Chat History - Conversations with Ai CareAssist™ stay with the case
  • Sensitive Field Confirmation - Sensitive extracted values require confirmation before they're written to the case
  • Obituary Integration - Obituary text can be consumed as an Ai CareAssist™ transcript
  • Extraction Consent Prompt - Families and staff see a clear consent prompt before AI extraction runs
  • Ai CareAssist™ Optimized Guide - A new guide configuration tuned specifically for the Ai CareAssist™ workflow

Arranger 2.0: Disposition & Visual Flow Chart

Arranger 2.0 guides can now be tagged by disposition, and the guide's page flow is rendered as an interactive diagram instead of an abstract list. Together they make it dramatically easier to see — and control — which pages a family actually sees based on the disposition they've chosen.

  • Disposition Tagging - Tag pages by disposition type directly in the Visual Page Editor
  • Disposition-Aware Filtering - The progress bar, page selector, and PageBuilderManagerPanel filter pages by the case's disposition
  • DispositionFilterBehavior Setting - Configure how strict or permissive disposition filtering should be on a per-guide basis
  • Interactive Syncfusion Flow Chart - A brand-new flow chart built on the Syncfusion Diagram with clean hierarchical layout, page restore, and linear chaining of consecutive same-tag pages
  • People QR Component - A new Arranger 2.0 component for sharing case people data over QR codes, scoped to the Arranger app

Solution Center Identity

Authentication moves off the older MATTSEC stack onto Solution Center Identity. This is a multi-phase project that lands end-to-end in this sprint, with better per-session isolation, visibility into active sessions, and far more graceful behavior when tokens expire mid-session.

Under the Hood
  • Phase 1 — Per-Session Token Store - Tokens are now isolated per browser session
  • Phase 2 — Per-Sign-In Session Capture - Every sign-in is captured as its own record
  • Phase 3 — Active Sessions UI - A new UI lets users see (and end) their active sessions
  • Phase 4 — Arranger Session Resilience - The Arranger recovers cleanly from expired or failed session refresh, with a session dialog that shows the right action when a refresh has permanently failed

Guide Import / Export

Guides can now be exported and imported as portable files, making it easy to move a guide between environments or share configurations between organizations. The import path is hardened against the usual upload-processing hazards.

  • Export - Download an entire guide, including its media manifest, as a single file
  • Import - Re-hydrate a guide from an exported file on another environment
  • Hardened Upload Path - Authorization checks, path-traversal guards, file-size limits, filename sanitization, empty-file guards, and null-coalesced manifest collections

Platform & Infrastructure

  • .NET 10 Upgrade - The solution now targets .NET 10, with a host-fallback fix for local development
  • Quieter Logs - Log levels tuned per environment and redundant Overview API calls eliminated
  • Runtime Log Cleanup - Reject companyId=0 requests, fix a Products N+1 query timeout, and stop logging avoidable noise
  • Build Quality - Suppressed CA1873 warnings and resolved nullable-reference warnings introduced by .NET 10

Bug Fixes

  • Allow adding panel and corner separately to an existing casket (#10259)
  • Show auto-save timestamp in server local time instead of UTC (#10264)
  • Parallelize Funeral Home Name and Page Flow fetches in Connections (#10273)

  • Preserve case number during Connections case conversion (#10048)
  • Additional SCV2 report query-param support for CareSign reports (#10291)
  • Users page performance and Package Item Codes (#10254, #10141)
  • Arranger 2.0 engraving modal, allowance pricing, and disclosures (#10302, #10307, #10383)
  • Welcome card due-date wipe on status/check updates, with overdue filter moved to the API
  • Cascade Disabled to Person.Active when saving a user
  • Stop Contract Disclosure duplication and unblock removal
  • Filter inactive person-resources from location resource lists
  • Fix SAP response deserialization corrupting valid orders
  • Map ListPrice as decimal(18,4) to prevent rounding errors
  • People delete error and Connections appointment details (#10304, #10266)
  • Normalize Unicode dashes and quotes in engraving text before sending to SAP (FD #38648)
  • Prevent a silent hang when removing a case person who is set as Authorizing Agent, and warn before delete (FD #38668)
  • Normalize ItemCode on save (trim whitespace, coerce empty to null)

What's Next?

Ai CareAssist™ opens up a new chapter for Solution Center, and we're just getting started. Expect deeper integration with guides, packages, and paperwork in the sprints ahead, along with continued investment in Arranger 2.0 and the new Identity stack.

As always, if you run into issues or have feature requests, let us know.
