Decision Zones, Settings Sync & a Faster Solution Center

August 2026 | Solution Center Dev Team

Sprint 2026.12 puts you in control of what families see. Decision Zones let you ask a question once and let the answer shape the rest of the arrangement — which pages appear, which products show, what the family reads. Roll your settings out to every company you choose in a single pass with the expanded Sync tools, sharpen pricing with per-disclosure effective dates and as-of price lists, and feel the whole application move faster — starting with text boxes that finally keep up with how fast you type.

Decision Zones

Every family is different, and the arrangement should follow their choices — not walk everyone down the same path. Decision Zones are configurable questions you place in the arrangement. Ask "Burial or cremation?" once, and the answer decides what happens next: which pages the family sees, which products they're offered, and which wording appears on the screen.

  • Ask Once, Apply Everywhere — Define a question and its answers, then use that answer to drive the rest of the arrangement
  • Steer the Path — Answers can show or hide whole pages, so families only walk through the steps that apply to them
  • Filter the Catalog — Mark products for a given answer and families see only what fits the choice they made
  • Tailor the Words — Any component or block of text can be tied to an answer, so the language matches the family's situation
  • Safe by Design — Change an answer and selections that no longer apply are cleaned up instead of quietly lingering
  • Documented — A full Decision Zones guide is available in Help

Settings Sync, Expanded

Configuring one location and then repeating yourself for the next twenty is nobody's idea of a good afternoon. Sync now covers far more of your configuration, and it pushes to every company you select in a single pass.

  • User Roles & Permissions — Roles and their permissions sync, including settings that were entered by hand
  • Contract Disclosures — Push your disclosure set out to the companies that should share it
  • Preferences — Company preferences copy across in one operation
  • Reports & Forms — Reports, forms, and report packages sync too, running in the background so a large selection never times out on you
  • Clear Progress — A live overlay tells you when a sync starts, how far along it is, and whether it finished or needs attention

Sharper Pricing & Catalog Control

Pricing work this sprint is all about getting ahead of changes instead of scrambling on the day they take effect.

  • Effective Dates on Disclosures — Each disclosure can carry its own effective date, and the printed price list uses it — falling back to the funeral home's date when it isn't set
  • Price Lists, Dated Ahead — Generate a price list as of a future date, bounded by an administrator-controlled limit, so you can review next year's pricing before it goes live
  • New Products in One Place — The GPL overview now lists every new product grouped by type, with a one-click Activate that turns it on at all of your locations
  • Accurate Net Pricing — Customer net price now accounts for the terms discount taken on sales tax, and the exported price list carries the customer name, number, and pricing date
  • Premium-First Materials — Casket exterior materials list in your configured sequence rather than alphabetically, so premium options lead
  • Corner & Panel Imagery — Upload a blank casket image from the product page to configure corners, and add-on corners and panels appear in Merchandise with their images

Workflow Automation That Fires When It Should

A workflow that doesn't trigger is worse than no workflow at all. This sprint closes the gaps.

  • Field Value Changed — The trigger now fires reliably when a watched field is edited
  • Obituary Saved — The obituary trigger fires when the obituary is saved, not when the AI button is clicked
  • Case Type Triggers — Triggers keyed to a case's type fire when that type is first assigned, in any company of the corporation
  • Cancel the Right Instance — Cancel and restart act on the workflow you selected rather than the first one running on the case
  • Editable Steps — A step can be removed when only completed cases reference it; live cases still protect it
  • Working Export — Workflow export runs cleanly again

Arranger 2.0 & Family Connections Polish

A steady round of fit-and-finish on the screens families actually touch.

  • On-Brand Icons — Family-facing icons pick up your branding colors
  • Cleaner Minimal Layout — The menu no longer overlaps the page, and a long funeral home name wraps instead of being cut off
  • Drag-and-Drop Media — Dropping or pasting a file into a media component uploads it, as it always should have
  • Product Details That Stay Open — Viewing product details on the family side no longer interrupts the session
  • Editable Cash Advances — Variable-priced cash advance items can be priced directly in the Services section
  • Big Cases Load — Cases with very large contracts open reliably
  • Simpler Access — Staff with arrangement access automatically get the read permissions the full Arranger 2.0 experience needs, with no extra security role
  • Tidier Galleries — Photo album tiles line up evenly, and gathering images render everywhere they're used

A Faster Solution Center

This sprint we went looking for the places the application made you wait — and the single most annoying one of all.

  • Typing Keeps Up — Text fields no longer drop letters or jump the cursor when you type quickly. This was the fix most people will notice first
  • Lighter Pages — Roughly five and a half megabytes of unused code no longer downloads with every page
  • Faster Images — Attachment and catalog images load straight into the browser instead of being funneled through the server
  • Quicker Sign-In — Login does its setup work in parallel rather than one step at a time
  • Less Waiting on Lists — Frequently used lookups and permissions are cached, so screens stop re-fetching the same data
  • Smoother Editing — Vitals and Arranger 2.0 redraw only when they need to, so edits and autosave feel immediate

Under the Hood

Plenty landed below the waterline this sprint:

  • Reporting Guardrails — Analytics exports now run with timeouts, retry safety, and concurrency limits so a long export can't slow the rest of the application down
  • Corporate Dashboard Gating — Corporate tiles and links hide themselves when no company in the organization has access to that feature, and a new tile links straight to analytics
  • Tighter Distributor Access — Distributor pricing and visibility permissions are resolved from the user's own record, closing gaps in how access was previously determined
  • Stability Hardening — A production issue affecting large workflow histories was resolved, and the platform's automated test coverage grew substantially with all suites now running on every build
  • Training Tenants — Report printing in training accounts now produces watermarked output only, and webhook test sends make no real outbound calls

What's Next?

Decision Zones give us a foundation to build on — expect answers to reach further into the arrangement and into the paperwork that follows it. The Sync work continues as we bring more configuration under the same one-pass model, and the performance pass that started here has a backlog behind it, so the application should keep getting quicker release over release.

As always, if you run into issues or have feature requests, let us know.
